Students - Integrity Is The Key!!! Submit an application. Once approved & the Level of Support is established. The Matching process begins. Students submit a detailed request form at least two weeks in advance if possible. Proof of purchase (the original receipt) must be submitted to the ALLH Office within 5 days after purchase. Any fraudulent activities or failure to submit the original receipts will result in dismissal from program.
ALLH Surrogate Families - Submit an application. Select Open Availability to students. Vetting & Background Process Begins. (May take 4 to 6 weeks) There will be NO Face to Face Communication until this process is final. If approved, the Matching Process begins. The Meet & Greet, which includes the student, their Hometown Family & the Surrogate Family (All Members) will meet at the Surrogate's Resident for a home inspection, house rules & expectations will be discussed & agreements will be signed. Any breech of agreement or a desire to change or discontinue their support of a student, please contact our ALLH Office.
ALLH Student's Hometown Family, will not be left in the dark. The Hometown family's Peace is a priority during this entire transition. They will be aware of ALL support & communication details between their student & the Surrogate Family via text or email. They will also be given contact information of ALL Surrogate Family Members at the Meet & Greet. The Hometown Family are REQUIRED to attend the Meet & Greet with their student & our Surrogate Family at their resident before ANY In Person Contact.
