Meet Tracy - Founder / Executive Director
Tracy Meadows Ford is a proud native of Valley, AL. A Christian, wife, mother, minister & mentor for over 25 years. In 2016, our son relocated to a university seven hours away from home. The distance & lack of funds, made that season very difficult for our family. I realized my family's experience was not an isolated reality, thusly, A Lot Like Home was birthed! Charity begins at home & spreads abroad! Now, it's time to give back. At ALLH, our mission is to assist with collegiate expenses & provide a safe haven for students detached from family & friends. So from a parent's heart, help me build a community of like compassion people who don't mind lending a hand for students pursuing their dreams through higher education. We are commissioned to "Do to others, as you would have them do to you." Our program is designed to support, inspire & encourage our students to achieve their full potential.
